More Christmas Cards

Here are some more cards

I really liked how this simple card turned out. I'll use it as template for the 'photo-cards' I'll be making. The shadow figures are cut on the Gazelle and on a brown-golden-glittering cardstrock. This cardstock is really thick and I had some problems making the correct adjustments for the gazelle to cut through.

Next card uses SEI's christmas papers called Holly Lane. These papers are really thick and can be used as cardstock. The flowers are from Prima.

I loved creating this card! I think the colours turned out really well.
The stamp is Rachelle Ann Miller and super cute (as always!). It is coloured by Gelly Roll Metallic from Sakura, and some Frosted Lace stickles as snow.

The frame is from K&Comp 'Blue Awning' collection. It comes glittery in nice muted colours. I really like the papers from the Blue Awning collection but haven't used the much... must go scrapping at once! ;)
The ribbon is from IKEA.

The last card for today is kind of different. The folding is like a 'window'. I have seen these with something that holds the 'windows' together, but I didn't wanted that. So instead I stamped another Rachelle Ann Miller stamp onto some small kitchen labels. I coloured with Derwent colour pencils and added the swirl, which is in wood. The swirl is coloured with Hollyberry Glimmer Mist.
As sentiment I added a rub-on. I also hadded some half pearls as snowflakes.

Christmas cards (Warning: Picture overload)

Let the festive season begin! I hope everyone that will get one of the christmas cards really feels the joy and happiness of christmas. I'm pretty pleased with the results =) I've only been doing this for less then a year! So it is the first time all friends and family will get handmade cards.

I have a couple more to do, but they are going to include photos so I need some time to find the perfect one! =)

So here it comes. First some pictures of all of them

And now some presentation of each and some close ups.

This card has a lot of buttins from Basic Grey and the patterned paper is from Making Memories FaLaLa collection. I have glues the buttons with Scrappy Glue and blinged the paper and 'God Jul' a bit with stickles. Behind the buttons are a strip of punchinella and a felt ribbon. The punchinella have a secured with zig 2 way glue. A handy little pen useful for putting glue onto small pieces.

Next card is a real colour bomb. I have been playing with my Derwent colour pencils and some of the Gelly Roll pens from Sakura. I love the effect both of these gives. The derwent pencils are solvable by attenuation (I don't know the corect english word...) and can be mixed into water colour effect. To add some more dimension I have added 3D crystal Lacquer on the ribbon and on the leaves. This gives a slightly rised transparent surface (which is very hard to capture on photo).

The next card is really simple to make. I have cut the scalloped edge on the Gazelle, but this can be made by hand. Just draw the scalloped edge on the backside of the paper, using something round, for example a coin, as template. The tree was drawn on free hand and cut by hand.
At the top I added a brad and the flowers are from Prima, Essentials 4. Each flower has a brad as center.

I'll continue with some more in next post.

I'm back!

Back in buisness so to say. I have a new job! It is sooo wonderful and a big relief.
I've even got my MoJo back =) So now I only have a few christmas cards left to do. I will try to photo all I have made and post here before I send them away.
